High Intensity Laser
High-Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT) is a non-invasive laser treatment that uses high-power, near infrared light to penetrate deep into tissues, reducing chronic and acute pain. By stimulating cellular metabolism (photobiomodulation), it accelerates healing, decreases inflammation, and improves blood circulation. Common uses include treating musculoskeletal disorders, muscle strains, joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, arthritis and nerve dysfunction. Key Characteristics and Benefits: *Deep Penetration: Unlike lower-power lasers, HILT reaches deeper into soft tissues, muscles, ligaments, and bones. *Reduced Pain & Inflammation *Accelerated Tissue Repair: It can reduce and soften scar tissue and greatly improve mobility.
Sessions are usually fast, around fifteen minutes in office. Depending on the condition being treated the severity and the duration of the condition, the number of sessions can vary from two to twenty. The treatment is performed by a highly trained professional.
Common Applications: *Musculoskeletal Pain *Sports Injuries *Chronic Pain due to arthritis, nerve dysfunction and neuralgia *Peripheral Neuropathy *Carpal Tunnel *Post-surgical pain *Spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease *Sciatica
